If you are a loyal Mucho Wednesdays fan then you are having the amazing pleasure to listen to some lovely sounds by the talented Pilar Díaz whose residency will be held until next June 3rd @ LaCita in Downtown Los Angeles.

Señorita Díaz has an enchanting voice that captivates the audience en un dos por tres! (sorry non-spanish speaking kiddos)

This lady is not new to the scene, she was part of "Los Abandoned"  and with them crazy post-punk/latin alternative music was born... for instance "Van Nuys es very nice" 

or how about "Me quieren en Chile"

 it kinda reminds me of a latin "no doubt" hahaha but that was just the start of Pilar's next great big boom bam pow! (yeah i just made it up, so what? que?! Q-VO?)

Well it is only fair i give you a little taste of her current tracks right? She just released her solo album titled, you guessed it right, Pilar Diaz so get it get it!!! ( i-tunes store!! ) some of her reviews read as follow:

Birthday madness

This past week has been so great! i can't stop thinking about all the birthday celebrations i got to enjoy and for all that i thank you :)

Such an incredibly week, from BODEGA to santa monica(hanging out with hermana) to SOCIETY, to a nice relaxing time with the real madre aka my mother to MustacheMondays to MuchoWednesdays then to the CATWALK and to a final birthday celebration thanks to my dear friend yenny(inca reject) that put together a nice little surprise party for me :)

I am sooo happy, this has been the best birthday celebration ever!

turning 21 has never been this sweet!

The Infamous Boom Boom

I have not seen so much blood since *ahem* 

let's just say that upon witnessing monday's performance i was between disturbed and aroused... i can't really explain but to be able to perform the way boom boom did takes courageous balls! mmm yes if i had those curbs i sure rub up some nasty blood while i lick my toys... now in case that you are completely clueless of what i mean...

and then off i went to Ladies Touch @ Jimmy's Lounge...

there was a stripper pole, food, and hot girls...and of course booze which all mixed around a bit can quite make a photo :)
so yeah... stripper pole... check! drinks... check! hot girls showing off their dancing skills... check! check! check!!!
